If you wish to take a trip on the Wheelyboat you will need to make a booking with us. We don't have a set time table but make trips available when its convenient for you.
Trips can be for an hour or more. We advise that your first trip would be an hour to make sure you, your service users or friends/family enjoy the experience.
Below is a calendar which indicates when trips are already booked. Check this out and find a date and time that suits you. Note that we always allow half an hour between trips to allow for getting on and off the boat.
Once you have found a suitable time contact us by phone on 07748 908 646
We will discuss your requirements. Number of passengers, disability needs, cost, safety issues, contact details etc.
This email will include a Booking Form and our Terms and Conditions for you to complete and sign.
You can also download this form and print it from here
As ever there is paperwork involved!
We need a passenger list which includes your signature confirming that you understand and agree to our booking terms and conditions.
We will discuss with you how you wish to to this.
There are three options.
Please arrive at the River Tees Watersports Centre at least 15 minutes before you trip.
Vehicles are permitted on the river frontage to allow passengers on or off but only for this purpose
All passengers will be fitted with a life jacket and a given a short safety briefing, then we can get on board and go.
You will be escorted onto the boat and seated as arranged by the Skipper
We always have a Skipper and another crew member to accompany you. The Skipper is in charge of the boat although the crew member may be driving the boat. Please follow any instruction given by the Skipper.
If for any reason you need to cancel a trip, please inform us by phone as soon a possible before the trip to allow us to step down the crew.
If we need to cancel for any reason, river conditions, weather or breakdowns, we will give you as much notice as possible and re-book the trip to suit you.
We look forward to joining us on the River Tees
